Dr. Waleed works as lecturer at the Centre of Theoretical Physics, The British University in Egypt. Waleed is an establishing member of the Egyptian Relativity Group (ERG) and a junior member of the International Astronomical Union (IAU). He has been focusing on the research related to modified gravity and its applications in cosmology and astrophysics. His recent research focuses on infrared corrections of gravity and its role to explain the cosmic accelerated expansion at late universe. In addition, Waleed is interested in black hole exact solutions in modified gravity.
