The Centre for Theoretical Physics at the British University in Egypt (BUE) was established in June 2006. We aim to conduct advanced research in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics in Egypt. The centre also aims to initiate and sustain interaction with leading international researchers through an active visitors program. In addition, the BUE centre provides advanced training for Egyptian graduate students in the field of theoretical physics and mathematics, in collaboration with Egyptian and UK Universities.
The development of the Centre of Theoretical Physics at such an early stage in the BUE's history reflects its commitment to conducting research that is truly world class. Indeed this commitment indicates that the BUE is serious in achieving its vision to be regarded as a leading University in Egypt and to be established as a world class institution within a 10 year period.
